Whenever I'm planning an out of town trip, I always check out whether the city ever appeared on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". That's exactly how we ended up here. I'm happy to report...this experience was not my typical experience with "ddd" locations. Ordinarily, I'm underwhelmed. This time, not so much. You should know I'm a huge burger guy, so I'm tough on burger joints. Service was fast. The atmosphere was exactly right for the "hole in the wall" feel. Burger was a little too expensive, in my opinion (I got a double), but it was very good. Perfectly pink throughout. Lastly, although I enjoy a juicy burger, this was borderline TOO juicy, which caused dripping everywhere and a soggy, mushy bun. Fries were nice and crispy. Bottom line: it's a good thing I don't live in Charlotte! This place has my recommendation.
Let me preface this review by saying I am a self proclaimed burger connoisseur. My burgers are extremely boujee (ground in house with brisket, shortrib, and chuck)...a bit extra yes I wholeheartedly agree....with that being said; Bang Bang puts together one of the better burgers I've had eating out-I had the pimento burger and was very impressed-toasted bun, hand cut fries, requested medium and it came out as such. I went on a Tuesday so able to walk right in-I'm sure on a weekend it gets rocking. Service was solid and decent beer selection too...Bathrooms were clean which I can appreciate...all in all; I would definitely come back.
Banging banging! This burger was so good, that at first bite, I was 1) planning to come back again the next day 2) sad that I couldn't order a second one right away (too filling). I always deconstruct meals, when possible, and every aspect of this burger was executed flawlessly - fresh tomato, crisp thin-sliced onion, beautiful guacamole, FRESH baked brioche bun. The tall guy with the voice was so kind in helping me, as well. The sauce on the side was great!! LOVE IT! This is the best thing I've eaten in Charlotte, so far.
Heard a lot about em decided to try em! Not bad not necessarily knock your socks off good but a decent burger! I opted for the TNT minus the siracha mayo and it wasn't all that hot but it was cooked med to order and nice flavor. Hubby had salmon burger and they overcooked the salmon but otherwise he was happy. The real star are the hand cut fries! delish It's a funky lil spot with eclectic decor and a very casual vibe! The staff was very friendly and helpful knowing we were newbies! Prices are terrible either!
Been here twice and had great burgers both times. The best part for me is they have good gluten free buns so I can actually have a normal burger experience The meat patty is thick and flavorful, you can taste the grill flavor. I get mine cooked medium and it is perfectly cooked, not overcooked and not too red, nice warm pink center. The cowboy is simple and classic with bacon and tasty barbecue sauce. I've also tried the K pop burger with kimchi and smoked pork belly - it was unique and delicious! The fries are good too - both regular and sweet potato versions. It's a quick service style place where you order at the counter and then they bring it to you when you're ready. It's a solid spot anytime you are craving a burger.
This was a solid burger. We all ate every last bit of it lol We also got the cheeseburger egg roll & Brussel sprouts to try. Glad we did. They're mid renovations but aside from that I have zero complaints. You order at the counter & they bring it to your table. Good service & Chill vibes. Definitely recommend
We came for a late lunch on a Friday. It is in a shopping center so it's a shared parking lot. However, we had no problem finding parking. They provided great customer service. You can tell they truly value every customer. I thought they offered plenty of seating. However, they are in the process of renovating to create additional seating. It is a family-friendly restaurant. They have high chairs and a changing station available in the restroom. Our food came out hot and pretty quickly. I tried the basic Bang Bang burger. I fell in love on the first bite. I upgraded to the sweet potato fries and loved those, too. I really enjoyed our visit and will be back for another visit.
Was craving a good burger while driving through Elizabeth and glad we stopped at Bang Bang. Guy behind counter was engaging and happy to make adjustments to the order as needed. He quoted 10-12 minutes for the burgers and I'm guessing we had them in about 8-9 minutes. Grab a booth or table and they'll bring out your food. Menu has your basic single or double and about 5 or 6 special burgers along with a weekly special. They also have a couple beers on tap - OMB Copper and Legion Juicy Jay today. Burgers were flavorful and it's the sauces that really complement the meat. Sweet Potato fires come with a delicious maple dip - a pairing I haven't tried before but really enjoyed. We were able to grab a space close to the door - a pleasant surprise for lunch on a Saturday. This may become a regular stop when we're on 7th Street and in the mood for burgers.
Great burger spot! We ordered take out for our first time trying this spot. The did take out great - the staff was super helpful in pick-up; and the burgers were very good. If you're in the area and wanting a burger - this should hit the spot!
Always have to try the Triple D restaurants that are available in the city. And Bang Bang did not disappoint! We ordered the TNT and Bang Bang burger on a GF bun. The food about 10 minutes so not long at all. Our orders were correct and nice and hot. The TNT was spicy and juicy. The best part about this restaurant is they get their buns for a local bakery and the GF bum looks identical to the regular bun. Most places give you some small bun that pales in comparison but not here! The fries are thick and fried perfectly. The service is 10/10. The tables are clean. The man that took our order was so kind and funny. If you are looking for a good burger gluten free or not, you need to come here
